It's all about babies again!!! Oh and JYC

Here's my cover page for my JYC. I bought a "We R Memory Keepers" red leather Binder so I haven't had to make a cover for it but still I wanted a title page.

I'm using a real mix of papers and brands so hopefully my Journal will have a real eclectic feel to it.
some new primas and some lace from Ebay, bits and bobs of alpha packs. I intend to use up all my odds and sods o this book.

Ann finally................ my second litter of puppies (for the year) were born today.
I came home from work to find Trav up to his arms in newspaper and wet wipes ;) with four puppies. I was able to see the last two born. We have six lovely healthy babies 3 girls and 3 boys.

Oh dear......... Have I bought too much?????

Stash that is?????
The last of my stash parcels arrived today, some more yummy papers, a pile!!! of CS and a tube of Prima's. My Lush red leather Album came as well and I'm over the moon with it all.
I dare not add up all my spends though as I may fall off my crafting stool :)
My We R Memories Album
It's a 8.5x11 D ring so I can move the pages about as I complete them.
I've cut a whole load of CS ready to start on Monday and now I'm raring to go...............
Oh and the added news is my Niece has been back in Hospital today in labour .................. but still no Baby!!!!! although my Sister has said they will start her off tomorrow, if he doesn't arrive tonight. ......... does it sound awful to say I was kinda hoping he would wait until Monday????? would have been a lovely way to start my Journal ;)

Hello Dolly

I saw this great ribbon storage idea on another blog of a scrapper who is taking part in JYC and I thought WOW not only pretty but functional..... this I have to do.
So off to Ebay I clicked and found 48 for a very nice price. they arrived today and I have just sat and wound "some" of my many ribbons around them.
I LoVe em'

Journal Your Christmas

I must be totally MAD!!!!!!
I have happily signed up for Shimelles Journal Your Christmas............. To go along with the house guests we will be having and the 20+ something dogs that we will have in the house!!!!!
totally totally MAD!!!!!

But I am so excited about starting this project!!! I have a ton (Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh don't tell Trav) of stash on order and am hoping it all arrives in the next day or so as I really want to get started preping my pages.
My reasons for taking part in the project are simple really........ My Christmas needs sparkle!!!!!
a couple of years back we cancelled Christmas, No major reasons just me being a selfish child really i suppose!!! We had moved to the Isle of Wight, but were living in a mini rented flat as our house sale had fallen through for the third time. All our stuff was in storage and I wanted my Chrimbo tree!!!!! as i couldn't have my lovely Christmas dec's and tree I sulked, stamped my feet and cancelled Christmas......... Oh how Childish......
Since that Christmas I haven't been able to get back into the swing of things and thought JYC might help.
It's November and I'm Soooooooooooooooooooooooo Excited about Christmas already!!! So I'd say it's working :) Big smiles all round here from the selfish Child!!!!! :)

Some lovely pressies and the weekly challenge

I'm such a lucky girl :) and I have some really fab!!!!! that's FAB!!! friends :) This afternoon I popped over to my chum Sami's to purchase my new craft table from her (that's another story to blog at a later date) and she gave me this beautiful little book filled with Dog Quotes. Sami know's how much I love my dogs and I just adore all these little doggie saying's.

Also this weekend with the pups now two weeks old their new families have coming by to visit them. Ruby's new family brought with them these two beautiful portraits of Diggory and Maggie.

I am totally blow away with these and they have told me they have another three (Suki, Gracie and Molly) to bring down for me, when they come and collect Ruby after Christmas.
On Friday I had a stash delivery arrie from CTM and found my bestest Chum Alison (who works at CTM) had popped in a whole load of ladybirds she is such a star she grabbed them for me the minute the box was unpacked I now have about a hundred new little bugs to use in my next project.....

Some LO's from last week

I haven't really done much crafting this week. As you can image the puppies keep me quite busy..... not that they need anything other than weighting and their bedding changed twice a day, as Maggie does all the hard work at the moment. but there is some very relaxing about just watching them, and I find that I get very little of anything done when there are new born puppies in the house. So I have uploaded a few LO's from last week.
COCKERS ON THE BEACH

I haven't got a clue what the green and cream spotty paper is it's just a random paper I ordered on line because I liked it....... just like me I forgot to note down the make and number and now can't order anymore (if anyone knows what it is please leave me a message).

My trusty doodling "ultra fine" sharpie pen came out again for this LO. I love doodling now. It's really liberating I can't believe just a few months ago I wasn't brave enough to take a pen to a almost finished LO and now I don't think twice about it.

It's the same with my handwriting I would never have dreamed about writing my journaling, everything was printed on computer now though I hand write every word. admittedly in pencil first and then I go over the top in my sharpie pen.

We took an awful lot of photos on this day and it was really hard to chose just a few for a LO which is why I chose this DLO # 81 from little book of sketches. I have used this LO before and really like the finished look.

TRES CHIC

this is my effort for the week before lasts challenge in UKS
you had to use either a French theme or a French title. red, white and blue colour theme, a given sketch some Rik-rak and some bling.

These papers arrived int he post the day the challenge was posted on the forum so I was really pleased that I could get started straight away on my LO. I love this piccy of Digg he looks so proud to be wearing his new jumper, and someone commented to me on FB how suave he looked, although My hubby still thinks Diggory is more "Dufas" than "Bond"

so I will leave you all with a Squooshy puppy nose

Puppies

Not really the right place to post this but I don't think crafting will be first and foremost on my mind over the next few weeks as I'm going to have my hands full with these little dears.
My Baby girl Maggie-Mae had seven beautifully healthy puppies last night.
I did however manage to complete this weeks LO challenge on UKS in between waiting for each pup to arrive.
Use the Sketch = 10pts
Use Pink, White & Green = 10pts
Use Brads = 5pts
Use RikRak = 5pts
so this a full 30 points to my team theBigKids@Heart

I just love these petal stamps :)

Just a peak.......

It seems all my craftiness just lately has been done in preparation for Christmas presents for friends. This afternoons crafting also fits into this bracket. So once again I can only show sneak peaks.
It's a three layer exploding box, in two shades of green Coredination CS
I used a just Kaisercrafts papers in the bloom range.
adding green and pink embellies from my stash box.
Of course there had to be a little LB hidden under a couple of Primas
the lidParcelled up ready for gift wrapping.
I managed to complete this in just a few hours this afternoon.......
not bad seeing that I'm back in a sling for five days :)
One handed crafting......... is NOT easy!!!

Just a little peak of today's craftiness

I made this, this morning in just a few hours. Inspired by a recipe holder in the latest Do Crafts mag. I can't show any more than a few sneak peaks as it's for a friend of mine who I know will be looking on here.
This is a piece from the front cover
and this is the back cover I used Costco papers and plenty of purple cut off's from my scrap box. There is a fair bit of writing on this project so,
I decided that using the computer & printer was the way to go
