I blogged a few weeks back about my niece KP's new furry baby Tinkerbell and thought it was about time I made her a minibook recording her first few weeks with the family.
With me forcing every little bit of creativity at the moment, in the hope that Mojo comes running back to save me (sadly I still do not have the urge to create, I just know I should be making things) I found making this minibook really hard going. Nothing seemed to want to go together, everything pink I picked up didn't match the book and I gave up on it a few times, throwing it back into my project box and walking away from my table. I haven't felt this un-creative in a long time. I'm hoping it's just the demands of a new job and the knowledge that we are approaching a busy time of year with the dogs as they are all due in season soon and two of them are to be mated, once the puppies arrive I rarely find the time to craft. So back to my minibook, My niece is a real girlie girl and loves anything pink, so this little white dog has pink blankets, a pink bowl, a pink collar and lead and thus the minibook had to be pink. I had to really dig through my stash to find this much pink PP and embellies as it isn't my most favorite colour.

Concidering you have misplaced your Mojo ...your work really doesn't show it ...lovely book.
I hate scrapping etc in pink because I think two papers will go together and like you, when they sit together the two pinks are never the same tone ...I then get frustrated and finally shelf the project. Blue has its problems too but it doesnt seem to happen with bright colours or browns!
I love the oranges you've got in there with the pinks. Makes it all warm and less, well, pink. I sometimes find pink quite a cold colour like blue - I don't know why but the orangey tones really warm this up.
That first picture really looks like he is laughing like some little anime cartoon doggie :D Fantastic photo. These blogs are giving me such a long list for Ally Pally - I now have dew drops and colour bok chalk to look out for :P
It's lovely Paige and totally belies the way you're feeling! Your mojo will return and crash into your consciousness jsut as soon as you are too busy to craft. Promise.
And incidentally - do not buy alcohol inks just to try 'em out. When you're ready, email me your addy and you can have a play with mine. It'll probably be a year before I use them again and then bin the results, which is what I've done this week!
O that is so pretty and cute.
This is fab Paige!! Love all the pink!
Wow yet again 10 out of 10 Paige, Kirsten will love the photo album, she will treasure it as I treasure all mine you have made for me. :)
