Catching up with the WCC challenge

I feel like it's bee ages since I had a good scrapping session at home, It's probably only been a week or two but I feel like it's been ages! I completed this Layout for last weeks challenge over on the WCC blog. The challenge was Day's gone by. I chose to use an awful photo :) taken many moons ago and Yes that's me with the homemade mixing bowl haircut wearing the quilted waistcoat. Child cruelty I call it!!!!!!! what was my mother thinking????The photo is of Me (about ten) My mum, My Nanna, (who was my whole world, possibly why my mother dressed me like she did) and my Grt-Grandma. This was the last time we were all together my Nanna died just before the following Christmas, Her mother lasted another ten years (she was 103 when she died). I used October afternoon Journal cards , stickers and papers. cutting the title with my Cricut (Donjuan). the flowers are punched with an EK success punch.

This morning I completed this layout for this Weeks challenge which is " Cherry On Top". Trav had some water melon the other day and not really thinking she would like it I gave Bella a husk. she went totally batty for it. chomping into the flesh, getting herself covered in all the juices. I just had to scrap the photos even though she had manged to eat most of it before I found my camera and took the photos. Again I have used October Afternoon papers and dyecuts, and the same cartridge as above for my title.
