They're breeding and blooming.........

The paper balls that is :) I seem to be obsessed with them. I made three on Thursday evening, for my friend Zoe's new craft room and then when I got home from work on Friday evening I made another one for my craft space this time it's a whooper!!! each circle is 5 3/4" of October after loveliness, the finished globe is about the size of a football. I have run out of room in this corner now so I must stop making them!!! I have also punched out some flowers using up all the scraps and then decorated the larger two globes with them. They look so pretty hanging the corner of my room, and when the back door is open they spin in the breeze....... very pleasing!

Edited to add; if you do make these to hang from the ceiling. Just using glue won't be enough to keep them from falling apart after a while. I have added a staple (or two to the larger ball) to ever glued fold. Once they are hanging you won't notice the staples.
Yesterday I thought as I had the whole weekend free, I would make a little desk decoration to grace the lovely card easel Mr Dunnit made for all us WOYWWer's. Growing up in the house of a carpenter, I adore bare wood so all I have done is added a good coating of bee's wax to the easel itself, and left it as is. I then just starting sticking bits of my favourite Cosmo range together, punched a few flowers added some Glossy accents and presto! one desk pretty completed.
I borrowed the Cricut cart "create a Critter" from Sam last weekend and have fallen in love with it! How I love these little beings! I have a few adorning my desk area now, and have made about thirty more little cards to add to my Craft fair makings.
Talking about craft fair makings. I have finally stopped! i have five RUB's filled with different shapes and styles of cards all packaged and ready to sell. I could quite easily continue making them and fill the final RUB, but what if I don't sell a single card at this craft fair??????? I'll have enough cards to last me two life times! I think I have made about 300 in total, although some are in sets of four.
here's hoping you had a wonderfully relaxing weekend just like I did. the sun shone for you and someone offered to cook your tea on Sunday night (well OK that last one is a big ask..... but it might happen?)

I cooked tea, but was happy to do that after a lazy day of paper and browsing the market. Love weekends! Your breeding balls are marvellous. Love the create piece, really nice. Good luck with te card sales..I find it so hit and miss. Mind you - your cards are in a league above, love 'em.

I do adore these and really it is a great idea to have them haning from the ceiling, it's a neglected space for adornment really isn't it? Love the 'critter' it's fab. Good idea about the beeswax, must remember to do that I think. Noticed your comment on Julia's blog and thought I'd missed you on Wed so popped by ;-)
