What's up?

Not a lot of crafting has been going on lately at my house :( I'm still on the full time hours and looks like I'll be staying on them of a while longer (although the change of job is still on the horizon) Crafting in the evenings after work isn't really happening so I have been trying to put time aside at the weekends to "Make Stuff" as Trav says. Unfortunately over the bank holiday I had a raging migraine and that totally put paid to any crafting getting done. I have however made time since Monday each evening and started a mini album for some friends of my sisters. They were married earlier on this year and although I have only met them the once I thought It would be nice to make a little book of their day. I cracked open my wedding project box (I had so many last year I thought it simpler to just keep a box for wedding themed papers and bits), and got started on a album that is roughly 5x7. I took all the photos of FB so they have to be only be printed on the small side.
So far I have completed 15 pages most of which are mini DLO's I have about another 20 photos to use, some more embellishments to make and a few titles to cut out. This kind of project is definitely where I see my cricut shining. Just think how many thickers and other alpha stickers I would need to use to do a title on every page of a 40 page mini book???????

the matching page to this says "Becoming Mr &"

These little tags can be removed and notes from the day can be written on them.

I haven't decided yet on the binding. At the moment it's all being held together with two jump rings But I'm really not a big fan of them. I would like to have it laced together with ribbons in the same way I did my first wedding album last year. But this means that I will need to score all the pages about 3/4" in from the binding so that the book can be opened (lack of forward planning on my part) and now that I have already completed so many pages that might not be an option. We'll see....................
