I Love my Molly-Jo

Molly-Jo my eldest girl will be turning 13 in January, she isn't very well at the moment (just feeling her age I fear), this morning while I was looking back over some old Christmas photos I found some of her with her first litter of pups (second photo in on first LO). I was amazed how "black" she was back then and couldn't remember her turning into the old grey face she is now....... how and when did she get so old??
I was sad at seeing how much she has aged and thought I would scrap a page in her honour using some photos taken over the years. Sorry for the poor colours it's dark out now and I had to take these without a flash as I was using glossy photos.
I have taken my inspiration for this layout from Wendys amazing work. I adore how she layers her embellishments, and wish I had half her talent. I'm really pleased with how this DLO has turned out and I love the little dog cards from the paper pups cricut cart.
I made a real effort on this LO to use things that I haven't even looked at in a while, so I used buttons, lace and ribbon, cracked open my prima jar and my "little things" box. I also used some of my stampin' Up stamps for journal tags and the larger butterfly.

It's just beautiful Paige. I love everything about it from the gorgeous photoes to the embellies (love the bone with wings) and those cricut doggies! Really beautiful. Lucy is the same - I looked at her the other day and wondered where did your black muzzle go? She's even got grey eyebrows now. Thing is she has days where she reallly looks and acts old, mostly cold days but other days she still springs around like a pup.

Love the LO's ... love the layering ...gives embelishments a new feel. The years wiz past for animals and humans alike ...cats dont seem to go grey but dogs do ...remember my dog when I was young, went grey by 6.

I love these LOs. The Cricut Paper Pups accents on the pages are fab. She is such a lovely dog and your LOs reflect that perfectly ;0) Would love to have a look at these in more detail to see those embellishments xxxx

Just wanted to say that I love the new look of your blog - particularly the title. I am a bit dumb when it comes to these sort of things - how did you do it? Michelle x
