Completed Rose Blanket

I have finished my lovely Rose blanket and I'm so pleased with it. Although it took as much wool as a "Granny" twice the size would have. It's lovely and snuggly and Oh so warm!! I have made it using a whole mix of colours all in a lovely soft Merino. The blanket it twice the length shown here in the picture, and lays perfectly along my body and legs when I'm sat crocheting and watching TV in my arm chair.

Trav had the studio lights all set up last night to take some professional shots of Sams paintings and I slipped my blankie in for a few minutes ;)The rose motif came from this book here. I got this on Amazon a few months back along with a couple of other books for crocheting flowers and boarders.

I hope you have a great weekend. I'm off to my friend Sarahs this afternoon for a Stampin' Up card class and then celebrating the Spring Equinox this evening at Porchfield.

Absolutely beautiful!
What a fabulous make. I am so intrigued by how it is all sewn together!
I cant tell if its a solid black detail or linked together with the black!
