I was watching Mythbusters last night and saw one of their cast members
wearing a beautiful oversized stripy hat I was inspired to make for
myself.
I am over the moon with the fit of this hat and as yet have only taken it off to have a bath (it went straight back on with my PJ's). I have added a turn over around the brim just to add a little stability and "cling" to help it stay on my head. It's a full 31 rows of triple stitch which is easily ten rows longer than my last slouchy that never did feel right on my head (I sent that one to my mum and she loves it).
As you can see I'm pretty happy with my new hat and have plans to make a couple more in different colour blends. I have picked a little pile of red, grey and black wool for my next one I'm thinking an evening hat for when we go away camping in the summer and I really fancy a pink, lilac and grey one for evenings to match my PJ's.

I'm with Sarah - I'm not even a hat wearer but would SO make an exception for one of these :) It's fab!
