Poppy Love Slouchy hat

Last night I finished my second slouchy hat. This one seemed to take forever to make and it's turned out alot bigger than the Chocolate Lime one, I'm not really sure why as I used the same hook, the same amount of increase rows and the same brand of wool......... But I love it all the same and it's perfect for hiding my hair while on camping trips.
These are really easy to make, I just use a magic loop, I work in the round changing colour with each completed row. I have mainly used triple (US double) stitch with just one row of single stitch where the brim folds over. I completed ten rows in each colour before turning the hat and working in the oppisite direction so that the stitches on folded over brim, are still the correct way around.
I'm sorry to say that as much as I would love to make these to sell, I'm really not going to be able to, this year at least. I have a blanket, a bed spread, a car seat cover and a hat to finish. Three blankets on order, and at least another eight projects that I've seem and would like to try and make for myself. I'm happy however to offer any crochet advice via email, skype or at one of my Wednesday crochet club meetings.
